Trills assert that their Health & Safety policy is to achieve and maintain a safe and healthy work environment for all its employees, sub-contractors and all others who may be affected by the Company's operations.

To this end we at Trills are proud to be accredited by some of the main Health & Safety assessment schemes and as a members of the British Safety Council are committed to keeping people safe and healthy at work.

The company maintains, and seeks to continuously improve on a regular basis our excellent health and safety record. We actively promote planning, organisation, monitoring, control, training and apply best practice procedures as a matter of course. With this in mind Trills have employed the services of external Health & Safety Consultants Citation plc, whose Health & Safety consultants are either qualified members of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) or the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management (IIRSM). This ensures that we are always at the fore of any new directives in regard to Health & Safety.

The risks to employees, sub-contractors and all others that may be affected by the activities of the business will be frequently assessed.

These assessments will be reviewed as required and arrangements made to eliminate and/or control any risks that may arise. This will be achieved by consultation with employees, arranging for best practise health and safety advice, co-ordinating and advising our clients where necessary to promote health and safety. We also undertake regular reviews of our employee's capabilities and training to ensure their skills are up to date in relation to their work.

Citation

Trills requests and expects all persons who are employed or contracted by them, or visiting the company offices to co-operate with and conform to the Company Policy for Health, Safety and Welfare, complying with and actively assisting in the implementation of the policy.

Mr Nigel Smith Trills MD is ultimately responsible for the health and safety programme of the company and for ensuring the necessary resources, but each member of the team is also responsible to ensure the policy is implemented professionally.

Trills Health & Safety Policy is reviewed and revised annually or as and when required to meet the changing needs of Trills, current Health & Safety compliance and the ever-changing work environment.
