OVERVIEW

Trills were appointed as main contractor to refurbish the student lounge and create a new entrance with roof to the sixth form centre at Redditch NEW College.

The roof was steel frame construction with plywood decking, Kingspan insulation, finished with a hot felt roof finish. The existing student lounge was given a complete make over during the summer shut down. The design brief was to give the college a ‘Big Brother’ feel to the designated area. Refurbishment works consisted of M&E installations, partitions, ceilings, floor finishes, decoration, furniture and a hoop style entrance feature into the main lounge.
